Atlanta ‘brides-to-be’ will soon have more resources than ever to choose from when planning their own ‘dream weddings’. Beginning this January 2006, an Atlanta-based production company - Reel Creative - launches Get Married Atlanta! – a weekly television entertainment program airing Sundays at 5 p.m. on WPXA/PAX TV that showcases wedding trends, tips and advice for local brides-to-be featuring some of Atlanta’s most prominent wedding planning resources.
“Atlanta is nationally recognized for having some of the most exciting venues, resources and entertainment options for the ‘ultimate’ wedding,” says Stacie Francombe, president of Reel Creative and founder of the new television series, Get Married Atlanta! “Our concise, visual television format delivered in an informative, entertaining style will give Atlanta brides-to-be an opportunity to see the latest trends in weddings and showcase Atlanta’s premier wedding resources to help them plan that one-of-a-kind spectacular wedding that many of these women and their families have always dreamed of!”
The only television show of its kind in the Atlanta metropolitan area, Get Married Atlanta! will present a weekly wedding show packed with information in a lifestyle-focused, entertaining format. Get Married Atlanta! is co-hosted by Jenn Hobby, one of the popular members of The Bert Show on All the Hits Q100.5 FM, and Renee Roberts. The thirty-minute weekly show will air on WPXA/PAX on Sundays at 5:00 p.m., reaching 2.3 million households. The debut show airs Sunday, January 15, 2006.
Get Married Atlanta! is slated to feature local venues, bridal fashions, reports on the latest trends and advice about a variety of wedding day topics. Just some of the local businesses participating in Get Married Atlanta! include:

“Ask An Expert” -- pieces that respond to commonly asked questions submitted via e-mail by local brides;
“Wedding Wisdom” -- featuring relationship advice delivered by marriage counselor, Steve Brand; and
“Honeymoon Hotspot” -- highlighting some of the worlds’ most exciting honeymoon destinations.
