If you have youngsters and are planning a trip to Zoo Atlanta, you might want to wait a few more weeks.

The children's' petting zoo at Zoo Atlanta, which has been closed several months for renovations, will re-open May 1, 2004.

Zoo Atlanta is open for admission Monday-Friday 9:30am-4:30pm and Saturday-Sunday 9:30am-5:30pm.  The zoo remains open 1 hour after admission gates close.  Admission is $16.50 for adults, $12.50 for seniors (55+), $11.50 for
children ages 3-11, and free for kids under 3 and zoo members. 
The zoo is located in Grant Park.
